About Tara Cottage

After many holidays in Northern Ireland Trevor and I decided we would like to become involved in Tourism. This set us exploring the North West for a new home that had to be set in a quiet location, allowing Guests the opportunity to relax and have easy access to the Causeway Coast and Antrim Glens.

We believe we have found this in Tara Cottage and set about furnishing it to the highest standards. As a result of our research, you can be assured of a very warm welcome in a beautiful, well presented home. We invite you now, to view more of Tara to see for yourself the luxury and comfort we have provided.

At no 4 Garrylaban Court.

Tara Cottage nestles in a small cul de sac. It is a residential, safe area with only the odd passing car going to one of the other homes

Inside Tara

Inside Tara You can relax after a day's sightseeing in our warm, comfortable lounge. There is a 40-inch flat screen TV/DVD to entertain you with a variety of programs. The TV channels are piped into all three bedrooms and the kitchen, which are all equipped with flat-screen TVs. The house has central heating but there is also a gas fire in the lounge which makes the house especially cosy in the cooler winter breaks.

The kitchen area is large, open-plan and includes a dining table, sofa and sitting area. The bright and well-equipped kitchen provides you with all the features you would need, including a dishwasher and microwave oven. There is a standard fridge in the kitchen, but additional storage is afforded by the second fridge/freezer in the garage. This space is great for storing extra holiday drinks and food. Just off the kitchen is the utility room, which has a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.

The master bedroom features a comfortable king-sized, 5ft bed with an en-suite shower and toilet. The middle room has a single bed, and the twin room has two single beds. All are tastefully furnished with pine bedside tables and desks. Electric blankets are fitted to ensure that you are cosy in the winter months. Fresh bed clothes and towels are fitted prior to your arrival. The main bathroom can be used by the guests in the twin and single rooms. It has a walk-in shower, bath and toilet.

Outside Tara

The back garden is enclosed and features beautiful views over the open countryside. The only neighbours you will see are the herd of cows that often come to look in from the back fields. There is a lit patio area with comfortable table, chairs and gas bar-be-que.
